24 Weeks

 

Oliver has now moved up to size 9-12 month pajamas, and all of his 6 month pants are too short. Its good to see he got the height gene from Ben and not me. He's rolling like a log lately, and has found himself neatly tucked under his crib and other peices of furniture many times this week. He's still jabbering away, and loves to make any kind of noise. This morning he said Mama clear as day....to Ben. But that's ok, he's said Dada to me lots all week, haha.

The other bit of great news, for me just as much as Oliver, is that he is finally taking his second nap in his crib! Which gives me more time to blog about every tiny little amazing thing he does. Now we just have to get the third nap straightened out and I might finally have enough time in the day to think about doing something else!

22 Weeks

Okay, so this picture might have been on a whim, a little. Oliver is keeping us busy busy busy!

This week Oliver got a whole bunch of new books, mostly farm animal themed. He loves cows that moo, dogs that woof woof, and cats that meow. Those sounds always bring a huge smile to his face. I highly recommend "Moo, Baa, La La La" for a first baby book.

What else...he's *starting* to nap in his crib more consistently, the morning nap is pretty solid and we're moving on to the midday nap now. I hesitate to say that it is going well, today is the first day and so far so good.

The little monkey had started reaching up his arms when he wants to be held. Absolutely adorable even if it happens constantly. He still loves a cuddle whenever he can get one, and sucks his thumb whenever he remembers it. He's tried a handful of times to crawl backwards, but it's still more of an unplanned scooch right now.

His second bottom tooth showed up and the chewing continues. I'm a little suspicious that there are more on their way soon. Time is just flying.
