43 Weeks - busy, busy, busy!

A lot of people have been asking how long we will keep up the weekly blogs. Yes, we've been a little slow here and there, but our plan is to make it to 52 weeks. After that? We'll see!

Out little explorer is keeping busy these days. Very busy. The weather has warmed up a little and we are spending more time outside. Wandering around the sidewalk, the grass, the park, the beach; he's got his hands in everything. And of course since he is yet to walk alone, I am right behind him, ready for the adventure. It is so neat to see the world through his eyes, watch him feel the different textures of grass, pavement, dirt and trees. He will point to cars, telephone poles, flowers and I tell him the names of everything. Over and over and over like a little circuit.

He is like a little sponge, absorbing everything around him. He is mimicking things we do...scary!

He says "dog" quite clearly now, and "woof" (which sounds more like "fff", but we know what he means). He pats his head when you say hat or when you ask him where is your head? He loves clapping and made the entire family break out in a round of applause with him at Easter lunch.

He had a great time with his cousin, aunt, uncles and grandparents this weekend. He even rode on his cousins shoulders with a little help from Daddy. It was so nice to have everyone here, we don't get to do it often enough.
