39 Weeks

This week we had great plans to go to East Sooke Park for a nice beach picnic, maybe a mini hike, and to take Oliver's weekly picture...instead we found we found our camera to not be working properly, a lost mitten, mix in some cold blustery wind and a screaming car trip. Needless to say, we did not get much of anything we had planned accomplished. Including Oliver's weekly picture.

So this week Oliver in front of our freshly painted living room wall. Not quite as exciting, but it makes the main attraction show off more...I guess.

Oliver is a cruising machine. He crawls up to me only to take my hands, so he can stand up and walk around to all the things he's not allowed to play with: the plants, the floor lamps, the wall sockets, you name it. His new favorite place to play is the stairs. He is great at climbing but then turns around and tries to tumble back down. We'll have to work on that part. He often talks to himself on his discovery expeditions and says things like "Whit-tah-whit-tah-whit-tah" and "Bah-tah-bah-tah-bah-tah."
