2 Weeks

This week started with Ben going back to work. I was thinking Oliver and I would maybe start to figure out some kind of routine. Silly me, newborn babies don't have a routine. Oliver eats when he is hungry: every 1.5 hours in the daytime, but he sometimes goes a long stretch at night. He sleeps when he is tired: an hour here and there, a little longer at night. He pees whenever we take off his diaper and poos as soon as we put a new one on. And while doing all this, the little multi-tasker cries at the same time.

He is still gaining weight at a healthy rate, due to the endless feeding. His long legs have outgrown his newborn pajamas. And he now sleeps in a new sleep sack!

His Dad takes him for late night walks in the carrier to see the chickens down the block, although Oliver is asleep by he time they reach them.

On Friday his Aunties, Shannon and Janice arrived for a weekend visit. Saturday morning we all went to Cup of Joe's Diner for breakfast. Oliver, with help from his Dad, left his name on the wall for all to see.

I also had to add one picture of the little guy from my view, you can't see anything so I hope nobody is offended. I think it is adorable.
